About Founder, Tom Blubaugh
Tom Blubaugh became a Christian on December 13, 1970. Trusting God was an immediate issue from the beginning due to sexual abuse at the hands of a clergy person when he was 12 years old.
This act destroyed his innocence and robbed his respect for any type of authority.
At age 15, Tom was already a convicted felon. Getting through high school was a struggle. He did get a diploma although he graduated with a D-.
Tom enlisted in the navy right after his senior year. Scoring high on aptitude tests, he was placed in a leadership position in boot camp. He remained in leadership during his four years of service. Tom has remained in leadership during all of his adult life.
As his relationship with God grew, he found victory over his emotional problems caused by his sex abuse.
Tom is married to Barbara. They have six children and fourteen grandchildren. He is a Vietnam veteran and works with veterans, homeless men, and addicts–helping them deal with emotional issues and overcoming their addictions.
