Years ago, in Japan, there was a terrible problem with counterfeit money being circulated.  The bankers got together in an attempt to try to solve the problem.  Many ideas were submitted for consideration to educate the tellers so they would recognize the phony money.  It was suggested that they show the tellers the counterfeit and have them become familiar with it but then when a new one came along.....what then.  It was perplexing.  After a fair amount of time had passed, an idea emerged that solved the problem.  They decided to have the tellers study the authentic money so intently that they would immediately recognize the phony.

With 300+ denominations in our country plus cults there are plenty of counterfeit gospels being passed around.  Who is right?  Who is wrong?  How can one know the truth?  His answer?  Study the Word of God so thoroughly that you immediately recognize the counterfeit when you hear it or read it.  It made sense to me.
