What is the purpose of The Genesis Project?
One of the dictionary definitions of the word genesis is "an event that is a beginning; a first part or stage of subsequent events". For the purpose of this explanation, this definition is appropriate. The mission of The Genesis Project is to help addicts, regardless of the type of addiction, begin a new life. It is a spiritually based "program", i.e., an ordered list of events to take place or procedures to be followed. The spiritual basis is the Bible (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). Since the Bible says that God is Truth, I believe all truth comes from God. You will not find 2 + 2 = 4 in the Bible but it is true and therefore originated with God.
Who can participate in The Genesis Project program?
It is open to anyone who is trying to improve their life whether addicted or not. Statistics tell us that 85% of our country's population is either addicted or somehow affected by someone who is.
